NTA closed the JEE Main session 1 provisional answer key objection window on February 6.
Along with the provisional answer key, the agency also shared candidates' recorded responses and questions. To submit an objection, a candidate had to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question.
NTA said subject experts will review candidates' challenges, and if they are found valid, the final answer key will be revised.
JEE Main session 1 result will be prepared using the final answer key.

Click on the session 1 scorecard download link.
Provide the requested information and log in.
Check and download your result.
JEE Main session 1 paper 1 (BE/BTech) exam was held on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29. The paper 1 test was held in two shifts – from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Paper 2 of JEE Main (BArch/BPlanning was held in the second shift of the last day, January 30 (from 3 pm to 6:30 pm).

JEE Main Result 2025 News Live: Tie-breaking rule for paper 2A (BArch)
Ties between candidates in paper 2A (BArch) will be resolved in the following order-
Higher NTA score in Mathematics, followed by
Higher NTA score in Aptitude Test, followed by
Higher NTA score in Drawing Test, followed by
Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects, followed by
Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Mathematics (part-1), followed by
Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Aptitude Test (part-2) in the test.
If the tie remains after all these stages, candidates will be assigned the same rank.

- After the result is declared, go to jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Open the session 1 scorecard download link displayed on the website.
- On the login window, provide the required information.
- Submit and download the session 1 scorecard.
Tie-breaking rule for JEE Main paper 1
If two or more candidates obtain the same NTA scores in the JEE Main paper 1 (BE/BTech), ties will be resolved in the following order:
NTA score in Mathematics, followed by
NTA score in Physics, followed by
NTA score in Chemistry, followed by
Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the test, followed by
Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Mathematics, followed by
Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics in the test, followed by
Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry.
If the tie remains even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank.
