Meanwhile, Congress candidate Sandeep Dikshit is significantly behind, trailing with just 1,351 votes, lagging 6,598 votes behind Kejriwal as the counting progresses.

Accusing Kejriwal of evading responsibility, Sachdeva said, “Whenever we questioned him on these issues, he either stayed silent or ran away. He tried to win elections by making false promises.”

He further asserted that the people of Delhi recognized their struggles and voted for a change in leadership. “Delhi’s pain is real, and the people have voted to end it by choosing PM Modi’s leadership,” he added.

Meanwhile, in the New Delhi constituency, Arvind Kejriwal continues to lead with 6,442 votes, while BJP’s Parvesh Verma is trailing. As per the latest trends, AAP is leading in 28 seats, whereas BJP is ahead in 42.

According to early trends on the Election Commission website, the BJP was leading in 43 seats, while AAP was ahead in 27.

Speaking to reporters after offering prayers at the Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place, Sachdeva said, “The results so far are in line with our expectations but we will wait for the final outcome.”

He credited BJP candidates for their hard work and claimed that Delhi’s voters had prioritized development and a corruption-free governance model. "The people have picked Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership because they wanted a model of development,” he stated.
