The Election Commission has begun the counting of votes for the Delhi election 2025.

BJP's Malviya Nagar candidate Satish Upadhyay called AAP and Congress each other's team A and B.

"I can say confidently that the way Delhi has lagged,... it now Delhi wants development like the rest of the nation... Delhi is also seeing PM Modi's dream of Viksit Bharat. The lotus will bloom... The Congress and AAP are 'A' and 'B' teams of each other but this time all the alliances will fail and the BJP will form the government," he said.

In 2020, AAP candidate Praveen Kumar won the Jangpura assembly seat with 45,133 votes, while BJP's Impreet Singh Bakshi, received 29,070 votes.

Manish Sisodia got his constituency changed for the Delhi election 2025, going for Jangpura instead of his usual Patparganj. He is up against BJP’s Tarwinder Singh Marwaha and Congress’ Fahad Suri.

The Election Commission will start the counting of votes at 8 am today.
