CNN settled a defamation case with Navy veteran Zachary Young, who was found liable for defaming him during a segment on evacuations from Afghanistan.
Hours after a jury held the TV news network responsible for defaming a U.S. Navy veteran who assisted in the evacuation of citizens from Afghanistan following the U.S. military's withdrawal from the nation in 2021, a judge announced Friday that CNN had struck a settlement with the man.
