JEE Mains 2025 Live: Ajay Sharma, National Academic Director, Engineering, Aakash Educational Services Limited sais that Mathematics was the most demanding section, ranging from moderate to difficult. Algebra and Calculus featured prominently, with significant representation from topics like 3D Geometry, Vectors, Binomial Theorem, Conic Sections, and Trigonometry. There were no questions from Statistics. While the questions weren’t excessively difficult conceptually, many involved lengthy and time-intensive calculations, making the section particularly challenging.

JEE Mains 2025 Live: “Chemistry was considered the easiest and quickest section to complete, offering significant relief to students managing their time. Inorganic Chemistry dominated the section, while Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry had fewer questions. Most theoretical questions were directly based on NCERT content, making the section straightforward and allowing students to shift their focus to the more challenging sections”, said Ajay Sharma, National Academic Director, Engineering, Aakash Educational Services Limited.

JEE Mains 2025 Live: According to Ajay Sharma, National Academic Director, Engineering, Aakash Educational Services Limited, Physics was rated as moderate to difficult by most students, with a few questions reaching JEE Advanced levels of complexity. Theoretical questions were limited, with the majority focusing on application-based problems. Mechanics, Waves, and Thermodynamics were well-represented. Electrostatics, Optics, and Mechanics had a stronger presence compared to other areas. Modern Physics, Electromagnetic Induction (EMI), and Magnetism featured fewer questions. Topics like Alternating Currents (AC) were entirely absent.

The second shift of the JEE Mains January 28 exam has started. This shift will continue till 6 pm.

The second shift of the JEE Main day 4 exam will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm. The Engineering (BE/BTech, paper 2) exam will be held in this shift.

“Maths was okay, chemistry was a bit hard…questions in maths were basic but I did not do my revision properly,” another aspirant from the same exam centre said.

Another candidate from the same candidate rated the paper as moderate. For him, the mathematics section was lengthy.

Overall, the paper was good, he added.

“My paper went well. Maths was as usual, physics was medium,” said Pranav Kumar who appeared for JEE Mains at an examination centre at Patliputra in Patna.
