UNICEF reported that climate hazards affected one in seven school-going children globally in 2024, with severe impacts noted in low-income countries
The United Nations Children's Fund, has released a report that says heatwaves, cyclones, flooding, and other extreme weather caused at least 242 million children in 85 countries to miss school last year.
