After days of chasing, Saif Ali Khan's attacker was nabbed by Mumbai Police in Thane, a suburb of Mumbai overnight on January 18-19. Hours after his arrest, police revealed that Vijay Das, the accused, had confessed to having committed the crime on January 16. Saif suffered six stab wounds when a burglary attempt at his Mumbai apartment turned violent. The actor got into a scuffle while reportedly trying to protect his family, which led to him being stabbed repeatedly.
