Los Angeles wildfires in photos: Hughes fire prompts evacuations of over 50,000 after weeks of blazes

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection reports that the new fire has destroyed 9,400 acres of property and is completely out of control.
While county workers cleaned drainage basins and pipelines and put up barriers, fire firefighters filled sandbags for communities. In Ventura and Los Angeles counties, red flag warnings for significant fire risk were extended until 10 a.m. on Friday.
